I have begun to look at the lower Chester and some of the small creeks between the Chester and Sassafras.  Durding Creek (east side of Eastern Neck) appears mostly SAV-less except for some horned pondweed (2′ or less) that I was able to rake up.  On the other hand, Swan Creek(just north of Rock Hall)  seems to have regained some millfoil in between the marinas on the south and southeasterly shore.  The past couple of years these beds had appeared to decline and almost disappear.  The beds around Great Oak Marina in Fairlee Creek also appear to be doing well-again millfoil.  Water clarity in all these spots appears about .5m.  Will examine Hail Creek, Church Creek and the bay side of Eastern Neck in the coming couple of weeks.
