Southern Naiad in the James River in Downtown Richmond

I returned to the James River today at the pipeline overlook and looked some more for additional underwater grasses. I found Southern Naiad in the shallow water. There was not so much of it but I will look for it in other places.

I made several trips to the James River Park to take photographs and swim. In all cases the water was clear to the bottom of the river. I have sent a spread sheet of data into the CBF Group. The canal near Browns Island is full of Hydrilla but this is not a natural waterway.
